Data Protection Notice
To join the Clean Cooking Investment Series from 17-18 November 2020, participants need to register a profile on the event platform hosted on b2match. (For the data protection and privacy policy of b2match, please click here.)
The data shared to create the participant profile will be processed by ‘the organisers’ of the event: the Clean Cooking Alliance, and GET.invest, a programme implemented by the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH; as well as the organisations that implement the event on behalf of the organisers, hereafter referred to as ‘the data processors’: CEFE International GmbH, and CONOSCOPE GmbH respectively. Please note that the Clean Cooking Alliance is based in the United States; data will thus also be processed outside the European Union.
If you have subscribed to updates from the Clean Cooking Alliance, have participated in the organisation’s programmes or similar, personal data collected during these activities and reinserted on b2match for the Clean Cooking Investment Series are not governed by this data protection note. The data protection notice hereunder refers to the data storage and processing by GET.invest and the data processors, as well as data previously not available to the Clean Cooking Alliance, collected in the context of the Clean Cooking Investment Series.
GET.invest and the data processors will manage your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) of the European Union (EU) 2016/679. The information you are asked to complete is necessary to organise the event you will be attending, to confirm your registration by e-mail, to create your profile with which you can be chosen and choose to engage in matchmaking sessions with other participants, and to allow you to modify your registration. Without a registered profile, it is not possible to participate to the Clean Cooking Investment Series.
Matchmaking sessions are based on the profile you create upon event registration. It is mandatory to provide the following data to attend the event and matchmaking: First name, last name, e-mail address, organisation name, organisation type, organisation description, country, city. This information will be visible for other participants, but your e-mail address will not be visible. Participants can select partners for the matchmaking meeting based on profile information. The organisers and data processors will also use profile information to suggest matchmaking partners to participants to take place during the event. During the registration process you can choose to share other data which however are not mandatory to complete your event registration and participation. By registering your profile, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose described herein.
Your data will also be processed by the organisers and the data processors upon its legitimate interest: to conduct post-evaluation surveys after the event by e-mail or phone call (if you have registered your phone number), and to obtain anonymised, general analytics about events implemented by the organisers. Anonymised data can also be shared with the donors of GET.invest for general feedback and better understanding of the market, that is the European Union, Germany, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Austria.
Your data will be stored until 30 September 2021. You can obtain information about your personal data stored and processed by the organisers and data processors, as well as rectification, restriction of processing, and erasure, and where appropriate, portability of your data by emailing info@get-invest.eu.
